Unidentified youth killed in city road crash

An unidentified young man was killed as a speeding vehicle knocked down him at Kakoli intersection under Banani police station in the city on Saturday morning. Contacted, Sub-inspector Ashraf-uz-zaman of the police station said on information, he recovered the body from the east side of Banani railway station near Kakoli crossing in the morning. Quoting witnesses, the SI added an unspecified vehicle ran into the victim while he was trying to cross the road at about 6:15 am. He died on the spot. The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morge for a postmortem examination, according to UNB.
