Unilever targets doubling production by 2010

CHITTAGONG, June 15: Unilever Bangladesh Limited Chairman-cum-Managing Director Rakesh Mohan called upon the officials and employees to discharge their duties diligently with a motivated target of doubling production of the company by the year 2010 keeping safety and quality of products intact.
He was addressing as chief guest at 'Good and Long Service Award' giving function of Unilever Bangladesh Limited at its Kalurghat Factory in the port city recently.
Rakesh Mohan expressed his hope that unique effort of the award receivers would encourage their colleages.
Factory General Manager Rajeeb Barua presided over the meeting. Director (human resource) BP Bidyappa and Director (shipping chain) Imran Momin attended as the special guests.
Speakers at the function said that beside manufacturing consumers goods of the international standard, Unilever Bangladesh has also been conducting social programmes at the different levels conceiving social accountability since long.
