Unilever working for 'betterment of society'

CHITTAGONG, Aug 4: Unilever Bangladesh is adding vitality to life not only through its brands but also, more importantly, through its direct community involvement.
"We have engaged ourselves in various community development work through various projects. It is our responsibility to contribute to the betterment of the society, a commitment we seek to fulfil every day.''
This observation was made by Chairman and Managing Director of Unilever Bangladesh Rakesh Mohan while addressing as the chief guest a function organised by Unilever Bangladesh Sports and Recreation Club at the Engineer's Institution, Chittagong on Friday evening.
Rakesh Mohan said everyone working in Unilever was a part of a family. The company's overall growth and development was dependent on the team efforts.

The function was presided over by the factory General Manager Rajib Barua while Human Resource Director BP Biddappa, Supply Chain director Imran Momin, Brand and Development director Naushadul Karim Chowdhury, President of Unilever Employees Union Shahidul Alam, General Secretary Salim Enayt, among others, also addressed the gathering.
