United Airways to buy new aircraft

The United Airways, one of the private airlines in the country, has decided to procure three Dash 8-Q400 aircraft aiming to expand its domestic and regional networks, reports BSS.
The aircraft, each of single-class seat configurations with 76 seats, will arrive in Dhaka in late October and will be available for commercial services by November this year.
The airlines will operate flights on its new Dhaka-Delhi route and also resume flights on the Dhaka-Kathmandu and Dhaka-Bangkok routes with the Dash 8-Q400 aircraft.
With the acquisition of three Dash8-Q400 aircraft, the number of aircraft in the United Airways fleet would stand at 14-two Airbus A-310s, five MD-83s, three ATR-72s, one Dash 8-100 and three Dash8-Q400s.
