United efforts to prevent dropouts of school children stressed

RANGPUR, Feb 27 (BSS): Speakers at a views exchange meeting here stressed for united efforts of all to end dropouts and ensure 100 per cent attendance of the students in the primary schools to make the programme Education for All successful.
They were addressing the meeting organised for the civil society members, elite, professionals, teachers, guardians and executives of the primary school managing committees at Pirganj Upazila Parishad auditorium here Friday afternoon.
Director (Admin & Finance) of the Compulsory Primary Education Implementation Unit of the Primary and Mass Education Md. Mokhlesur Rahman attended the meeting as the chief guest with Upazila Education Officer Rezaul Karim in the chair.
Principal Mostafizur Rahman, Muktijoddha Commander Abdul Momin Akand, Headmaster Rafikul Islam, primary school teachers Saiful Islam, Abul Kalam Azad, Rafikul Islam, Adv Azizur Rahman, Adv Sufian Hiru and journalists addressed.
The speakers called upon all concerned in the society to play their due role at all levels to stop school dropouts to educate all children in the process of achieving the Millennium Development Goals and making Vision 2021 successful.
