United Hospital gets new DMS

Dr. Shanthi Bansal has joined the United Hospital as Director, Medical Services, (DMS) this month, says a press release.
She has replaced Dr. Mahbub Uddin Ahmed who will take a new role as the Director, Medical Services, at the United Group's holding company of healthcare division, United Healthcare Services Limited (UHSL).
Dr Bansal has completed her MBBS degree and MD in anesthesiology from AP Singh University, Rewa, in 1991 and 1994 respectively.
She also obtained her MBA degree in Healthcare Services from Sikkim Manipal University in 2013 and accomplished her Post-Graduate Diploma in Hospital and Health Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University.
Ms. Bansal is a seasoned healthcare professional having 25 years of experience in the healthcare services industry in India and other parts of the world.
Before joining the United Hospital, she has worked at Haria L G Rotary Hospital, Gujarat as CEO.
Dr. Mahbub had joined the United Hospital as Chief of Clinical Services in 2012.
Both of them will ensure world-class healthcare and effective operation of quality clinical care by providing medical leadership consistent with international standard.
