United Insurance approves 10pc cash dividend

The 30th annual general meeting (AGM) of the shareholders of United Insurance Company Limited (UICL) was held in the city on Sunday with Chairman of the company Syed Aziz Ahmad in the chair. The AGM approved 10 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2014, said a press release.
The company earned pre-tax profit of Tk 148.64 million for the year 2014. On 31st December, 2014 the company's Net Assets value was Tk 1211.77 million which on 31st December, 2013 was Tk 1137.82 million.
