Universe — a mega atom?
Saturday, 11 October 2014
The atomic structure is believed to have a nucleus, around which are supposed to be orbiting electrons, protons, neutrons and many sub-atomic particles. This is what is based on our current levels of acceptable scientific knowledge about atomic structures in general. Interestingly enough, it can be compared to our concept of the solar system. Here the sun is considered similar to a fixed nucleus, and the planets represent the electrons, protons and neutrons and other sub-atomic particle, that orbit around the nucleus. Beyond the solar system there well could be many more about which our knowledge is not so well defined. In the decades to come, with further understanding and advancement in outer space sciences, the characteristics of space can be defined and understood better.
The vast limitless outer space that we call infinity may be a conglomeration of mega-atoms that will represent the boundaries of space beyond imagination today. This is probably indicated in the religious scriptures whence God is considered the centre and creator of universe and mankind is among one of His many creations.
This may possibly be called the limit to the outermost reach of our mental conception that has come through the progressive civilization of mankind over centuries. Can we also conceive, that in the centuries yet to come, we will be more developed and advanced and mature that the man of today will gradually be modified to become newer, better and more developed "humans' of tomorrow. These 'new men' of tomorrow, with higher levels of theoretical and applied knowledge of all that is still unknown in the realm of science and technology will then embark upon the unfinished journey to plumb further, even maybe beyond infinity as we understand now. They will go forward onwards to explore the vast and unknown realms of human knowledge and understanding. All this will be possible through a more mature and developed theoretical concept and awareness of outer space and even beyond its boundaries towards limitless infinity now unknown and unexplored.
This idea is based upon my open imagination interlaced with scanty knowledge in science and particularly of space, astronomy and metaphysics.
