Universities urged to ensure requisite faculty, facilities for imparting quality education

President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed expressed the hope that the authorities of the universities would ensure necessary prerequisites, such as full-time faculty and facilities, for imparting quality education to groom citizens of good qualities, reoprts UNB.
He observed that quality education depends on some indispensable phenomena, including congenial atmosphere of education, full-time faculty, sufficient laboratory and library facilities, research activities and collective endeavours from all.
"Universities are the illustrious institutions of the country that are agent for setting society's tune," the President said at the first convocation of Bangladesh University at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre Tuesday.
He noted that the role of universities is of paramount importance to fulfil the hopes and aspirations of society along with making 'good man' through collective and academic endeavours.
