Unmad magazine celebrates 40 years!

Unmad, a Bangladeshi satire magazine, is similar to the longest-running international 'Mad' monthly magazine. One of the most popular Bangla satire magazines of our country, Unmad has crossed 40 years of publication recently. Unmad is loved by its loyal readers as it makes fun and indirectly criticises the different anomalies of our society. Ever since it was launched in 1978, the magazine made its place in the hearts of Bangla satire lovers. Unmad was iconic throughout the 1980s and most of the 1990s.
Satire isn't just entertainment. It plays a vital role in a democratic society. It is also a smart way to talk about taboo subjects. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the people working tirelessly behind Unmad magazine. The team behind the magazine has been maintaining an online portal and Facebook page since 2013.
