Unruly students a stigma

Sunday, 6 April 2014

The student wing of the ruling party continues to create a reign of terror in our country for the last six years, especially in the public education sector. Their wayward activities are bringing bad name for the ruling party day by day but no tangible steps have been taken so far to stop these. The ruling party leaders should stop theses rowdy elements as the Chattra League activities are seriously denting the image of the party in power.
The ruling party, at present, doesn't seem to dare to irk the common people as they already garnered much criticism for the way the upazila polls and the general election were held. The silence of the top leaders of the ruling party is encouraging the rowdy Chattra League activists to go berserk. We are getting horrible news of their involvement in various kinds of heinous crimes every day.
It is clear as daylight that the student wing  has become a burden and stigma for the ruling party. We can fight our enemies outside because they are known but cannot fight those residing inside in disguise. In reality, they are more harmful than our sworn enemies. We hope the ruling party will discard all its rowdy activists and bring discipline in the party.
