Update all websites: PMO

The Prime Minister’s Office has instructed all ministries, divisions and agencies to update their websites.
A directive was sent from the PMO to the officials of 55 ministries, divisions and agencies to this effect, according to a news agency.
The Election Commission has already started implementing the order. EC Systems Manager Md Ashraf Hossain has asked all departments of the commission to put up current information in Bengali and English.
The PMO directive said websites play an important role in disseminating necessary information from state agencies.
It said that when these websites are not regularly updated, they create problems in administrative communications and send across a bad message to the public.
The government has recently launched a national information portal that lists all 25,000 websites of various government agencies.
