UPDF cadre killed in shootout with RAB

KHAGRACHHARI, Oct 21 (UNB): A cadre of United People's Democratic Front (UPDF) was killed in a shootout between his cohorts and Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) at Jurgachhari in Laxmichhari Upazila early Friday.
One AK-47 rifle, two locally made guns, two pistols and 82 rounds of bullet were also seized.
The police said acting on secret information, when a team of RAB-7 raided a hideout of anti-CHT peace treaty organisation UPDF at Jurgachhari at 4:15am the UPDF activists opened fire at them, triggering a gunfight.
