Sunday, 2 July 2023
The US-Bangla Airlines is going to commence direct flights to its 12th international destination -- the Indian capital city of Delhi -- starting from the last week of July, reports UNB.
Flights will run on the Dhaka-Delhi route four days a week -- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday.
The US-Bangla Airlines is poised to fulfil the long-awaited expectations of Bangladeshi tourists and travellers who seek advanced medical care and education in Delhi, said a press release.
The decision to operate US-Bangla flights to Delhi is expected to further strengthen the ties between the two friendly countries, the release added.

Delhi will become US-Bangla's third direct route to India after Kolkata and Chennai.
As part of the plan, the airlines will operate flights to Delhi using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Currently, the US-Bangla fleet has a total of 19 aircraft, including eight Boeing 737-800.
For the first time, two Airbus 330s are going to be added to the US-Bangla fleet by August next. With this, there is a plan to operate flights on Dhaka-Jeddah route this year.
Apart from Chennai and Kolkata, US-Bangla Airlines is currently operating flights to Dubai, Sharjah, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Male, Bangkok and Guangzhou, one of the commercial cities of China.
