US-Bangla to operate flights to Chennai from March 31

US-Bangla Airlines will operate Dhaka-Chattogram-Chennai direct flight as the first local carrier from March 31, along with health and tourism package at a reasonable price for the Bangladeshi patients and travelers.
The authority announced the flight schedule at a press conference at a city hotel on Wednesday. The airlines will operate three flights a week primarily on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
The flight will depart from Dhaka at 9:10 am local time for Chattogram, leave Chattogram at 10:45 am and reach Chennai at 12:45 pm.
The flight will start returning from Chennai at 1:30 pm and reach Chattogram at 3:30 pm and Dhaka at 6:00 pm.
The fare for one way from Dhaka-Chennai has been fixed minimum Tk 15,043 and return ticket Tk 22,223. From Chattogram, the fare for one way will be minimum Tk 16,045 and return Tk 22,225.
The airlines has announced a health package of Tk 37,990 at Apollo Hospital of Chennai under a bilateral agreement with the hospital. The package includes Dhaka-Chennai-Dhaka return ticket, two nights three days accommodation for two persons, complimentary breakfast, free visa invitation letter, free doctor's appointment, free airport pick-up and Apollo master health checkup package.
The master health package includes haemogram, blood sugar test, kidney function test, lipid profile, liver function test, complete urine dialysis, stool test, ECG, X-ray chest, ultrasound of the abdomen (screening only), Pap smear (for women).
Besides, US-Bangla offers two nights three days holiday package at Tk 32,490. The package includes Dhaka-Chennai-Dhaka return ticket, two nights three days accommodation for two persons, complimentary breakfast and airport pick up.
It will operate Dhaka-Chennai-Dhaka flight with its 164-seater 737-800 aircraft. The aircraft has eight business class and 156 economy class seats.
