Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday said the visiting US delegation wants to see the country's next general elections free, fair and violence-free, reports BSS.

US Under Secretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights Uzra Zeya led the delegation.
The minister also said that a fruitful discussion was held between the Prime Minister and the visiting US delegation.
They expressed great satisfaction with the way that the country is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he added.
"The US delegation also witnessed a peaceful gathering of the two major political parties yesterday (Wednesday)," Kamal said.
Replying to a question about Rohingyas repatriation, he said that the delegation expressed their firmness to stand by the government for smooth repatriation of the Rohingya refugees.
