US Embassy closed Oct 12

The American Embassy in Dhaka, including its consular section, will remain closed on Sunday on the occasion of Columbus Day, an American holiday. The American Centre with the Archer K. Blood American Centre Library and the EducationUSA Student Advising Centre will also remain closed on the day. However, emergency services for American citizens will be available (call 885-5500 and ask for the duty officer), said a press release on Thursday.
