Witnessing the proceedings of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) on a contempt rule Sunday, visiting US Ambassador-at-Large for war crimes issues Stephen J Rapp expressed "satisfaction" over the judicial process, reports UNB. "Rapp conveyed his observation when he met members of the tribunal in their chamber," said acting spokesperson for the tribunal Mesbah Uddin Ahmed at a press briefing. The spokesperson said that Rapp was highly glad seeing that the ICT was proceeding in a transparent, fair and impartial manner, allowing lawyers from both sides to submit their arguments.
