US markets advance

Wall Street continued to rise despite tensions over Ukraine and Iraq. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 60.56 points (0.37 per cent) to 16,553.93 over the week. The broad-based S&P 500 rose 6.44 (0.33 per cent) to 1,931.59, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index added 18.26 (0.42 per cent) at 4,370.90, according to AFP.
