US to help build 130 cyclone shelters, says Moriarty

The United States (US) will provide necessary support to build more than 130 multipurpose cyclone shelters in the disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh.
US Ambassador in Dhaka James F Moriarty said this, while speaking at a ceremony, organised to commemorate the contributions jointly made by Bangladesh Armed Forces and members of the US Marine Forces Pacific Command under Operation Sea Angel during the natural calamities of 1991 and 2007, held at Golf Garden in the city Thursday, reports BSS.
