US varsities' team calls on DU VC

A delegation of teachers and students of three universities of the US called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter's office Saturday.
Director of the School of Social Work of Southern Illinois University Mizanur Rahman Miah led the US delegation. Dr Michael A Weiss and Deborah Jacobson of Case Western Reserve University, among others, accompanied the team.
"We have discussed different matters relating to socio-economic development and the education systems of Bangladesh and the US in the meeting," the DU VC said.
