US wants to see stable Bangladesh: Keshap

The United States (US) wants to see a bright, prosperous, stable, democratic Bangladesh with the participation of all people, said a US official in the city Sunday.
Atul Keshap, Deputy Assistant Secretary for South Asia, of the US Department of State, made the comment while making a brief statement after a meeting with State Minister for Foreign Affairs M Shahriar Alam at the Foreign Ministry, according to a news agency.
He said the US will work with hands in hands with all the parties, people of all walks of life and the government here to that end.
Keshap, now here to attend the third security dialogue to be held Tuesday, also said the US is very ambitious about its partnership with Bangladesh.
