USAID, DFID join hands to extend quality health services in BD

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the UK's Department for International Development (DFID) have teamed up to extend quality health services in 330 Smiling Sun clinics all over Bangladesh. USAID Mission Director Janina Jaruzelski and DFID Country Director Sarah Cook will announce USAID and DFID's joint partnership to expand Smiling Sun Health clinic services in Bangladesh on Tuesday. Under the new partnership, USAID will provide approximately US $54 million and DFID to give approximately US $29 million to extend maternal and child health services to all 64 districts of Bangladesh, according to UNB.
