Use ADP money within deadline properly Malek

Advanced integrated plan should be in place for quick and expected implementation of schemes in the current fiscal year, said Brig Gen (retd) MA Malek, who oversees telecommunication and social welfare ministries as the special assistant to the Chief Adviser.brHe made the comment Sunday at a monthly coordination meeting in Bangladesh Secretariat, reports UNB.brMalek said money allocated in the Annual Development Programme (ADP) should be used before the deadline.brHe asked officials to complete all bidding and other procedures by December to implement the schemes by March as the fiscal year expires in June.brHe ordered timely disbursement of funds for proper implementation of the development target under the ADP.brThe meeting was told that the Ministry of Social Welfare has 35 schemes for which some Tk 477 million (47.70 crore) has been allocated in 2008-2009 fiscal year.brSecretary of the Ministry of Social Welfare Dewan Zakir Hossain attended the meeting along with other senior officials.
