Friday, 18 July 2014

A Jatiya Sangsad panel has suggested the government to reduce backlog of cases across the country using the techniques the Mymensingh District Judge has applied for the speedy disposal of 50,000 cases. It also recommended the law ministry to arrange Mymensingh tour for the members of the panel to gather experience to follow the example of Mymensingh to reduce the backlog of the cases in other districts. The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Law Ministry came up with the suggestions at its 5th meeting held with the committee chairman presiding. The meeting was held at the Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) Secretariat, according to a news agency.
