Usha KC book final berth

National star-studded Usha KC came from behind to beat Bangladesh Navy by 4-1 goals to reach the final of the Need For Speed Shaheed Smriti Hockey Tournament, with one match to spareat the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka Tuesday, UNB reports.

The match was locked 1-1 during the first half.

Rubel Kabir put the Navy team ahead in the 13th minute by a field goal while Zahid-bin Talib levelled the margin for Usha KC in the 34th minute, also by a field goal.

Zahid Bin Talib scored two more field goals in the 40th and 56th minutes while Sheikh M Nannu scored the other goal for Usha KC in the 48th minute.

With the day's well-merited win, Usha KC took solo lead in the league points table with all-win record securing full 12 points from four matches and will play their main contenders Bangladesh Army tomorrow (Thursday) to decide the top finisher.
