Usmania Glass approves 60pc cash dividend

CHITTAGONG, Dec 28: Usmania Glass Sheet Factory Limited (UGSF) approved 60 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2007-2008.
The approval came at the 22nd annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held at its office in Kalurghat area in the port city Saturday.
Chaired by Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Chairman and UGSF Board Chairman Md Mokhlesur Rahman, the AGM was attended, among others, by its directors MA Hannan, Md Abdul Hamid, Md Siraj-ud-Dowla, Monjurur Rahman, Mohammad Sadeque, Azizul Hoque Sadeque and Golam Maola.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting.
The UGSF chairman re-assured the shareholders of sustaining the ongoing progress of the company.
