USTC Pharmacists Assoc launched

Pharmacy graduates of University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) have formed USTC Pharmacists Association (UPA) to support and encourage pharmacy profession in Bangladesh. Extending co-operation and collaboration among pharmacy graduates and other pharmacists associations will be the key objective of the newly formed UPA. The association was formed recently at a restaurant in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Pharmacists who have graduated from USTC were present. Former chairman Prof Mohi Uddin Chowdhury, former faculty Mr Hassan Kawsar of Dept. of Pharmacy, USTC were also present as special guests and they have been honoured for their valuable contribution to the Dept. of Pharmacy, USTC and the Pharmacy Profession in the programme,according to a statement.
