Uttar Baridhara suffer 4-5 goals defeat in tiebreaker

Uttar Baridhara Football Club of Dhaka suffered a 4-5 goals defeat to Kolkata Mohammedan in tiebreaker in the final match of the Datta Narayan Adhikary Smriti Winners Football Tournament at Chengrabanda in West Bengal Friday, reports UNB.
The match rolled into tiebreaker after the regulation time ended goalless.
Monju of Uttar Baridhara Football Club was adjudged man of the tournament while national striker Alfaz Ahmed received the highest scorer award.
Earlier, on way to the final, Uttar Baridhara Football Club defeated Modern Boys Club of Shiliguri by 2-0 goals in the semi-final of the eight-team tournament participated by four clubs from India and one club each from Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Myanmar.
