Uttara Fighters win over Gulshan Youth Academy

Uttara Fighters Sporting Club earned a huge 145-run victory over Gulshan Youth Cricket Academy in a qualifying round match of the Metropolis 3rd Division Cricket League at the BKSP ground in Saver Tuesday, reports UNB. Batting first, Uttara Fighters scored 266 runs for 9 in quota 50 overs with Tofael contributing 97 and Mahbubur 50 runs. Faisal claimed five wickets for 35 runs while Saifuddin took two wickets for 18 runs. In reply, Gulshan Youth Cricket Academy were all out for 121 in 25.5 overs with Parvez making not out 27 runs. Motaleb grabbed five wickets for 66 runs. In the day's other matches, Hammad Jinnah Cricket Academy (256 for 4 in 50 overs) outplayed Altaf Cricket Foundation (118 all out in 43.1 overs) by 138 runs at the City Club ground while G-34 Sporting Club (145 for 6 in 26.4 overs) beat Shooting Star Cricket Club (140 all out in 39.2 overs) by four wickets at the Dhaka University ground.
