Uttara Finance names Wali Ullah as MD and CEO

Uttara Finance and Investments Limited (UFIL) appointed Md. Wali Ullah as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.
With a stellar career spanning 33 years in the banking industry, Md. Wali Ullah brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of leadership to steer the company toward greater success.
Prior to joining UFIL, Md. Wali Ullah served as Deputy Managing Director at Agrani Bank PLC and Sonali Bank PLC, two of the nation's largest and most reputable financial institutions.
During his tenure, Md. Wali Ullah played key roles including as Branch Manager, Zonal Head, CFO, Faculty Member at ABTI, Head of Central Accounts, and General Manager at Agrani Bank PLC across multiple regions at home and abroad.
