UZ chairman, vice-chair accused of bus torching

MAGURA, Jan 15:  At least 30 BNP-Jamaat leaders and workers including Shalikha Upazila chairman and vice chairman have been accused in bus torching case.
Shalikha police station officer-in-charge (OC) Biplob Kumar Nath informed Thursday noon that he filed a case accusing 30 BNP- Jamaat leaders and workers including Shalikha Upazila chairman Mojaffar Hossen Tuku and vice chairman Ibrahim Hossen of torching a bus.
According to case record, a bus was torched in Arpara area under Shalikha Upazila of Magura Wednesday night. Police have also arrested two accused in this regard.The arrested were identified as Golzer and Shukur.
