Uzbek President greets Hasina

Uzbekistan President Islam Karimov on Wednesday congratulated Sheikh Hasina on her assumption of office of Bangladesh Prime Minister for the third time.
In a message to Bangladesh Prime Minister, Karimov said traditional friendship and bonds between the two friendly countries will continue to strengthen in the coming days for the benefit of the two countries, according to a Foreign Ministry media release, reports a news agency.
On Tuesday, Sri Lanka, Singapore, and Saarc Secretary General also congratulated Sheikh Hasina.
