Vandalism case: Moudud, Abbas indictment Sept 2

A Dhaka court has fixed September 2 for framing of charges against BNP standing committee member Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Dhaka city unit BNP convener Mirza Abbas and 39 other leaders and activists of the party in a vandalism case filed last year. Metropolitan Magistrate Hakim Mohammad Tarek passed the order. Paltan Police had filed the case accusing 44 people of vandalism following the obstruction of traffic in front of BNP’s central office in Naya Paltan in the city on March 6 last year. SI Moshiur Rahman submitted a charge-sheet against 41 on March 19, 2013, according to a news agency.
