Varendra Research Museum gets more US grant

US Ambassador Dan W Mozena on Wednesday announced an additional grant of $85,000 from the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation to restore and renovate the exterior of the Varendra Research Museum in Rajshahi. “I’m pleased to announce the additional grant from my fund to restore and renovate the exterior of the museum,” Mozena said. He made the announcement while addressing a function in Rajshahi that was arranged to celebrate the completion of $94,933 interior renovation project also funded by the United States through the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation, according to a news agency.
