It is a symbol of discipline that sometimes we are to wait in the queue to get the desired service, products and some other things. Once I observed a commuter who used a rickshaw to go to the bus stand to ride on the bus. But he found his position in the queue in front of his office from where he actually moved to the bus station. At times we see the poor people in villages having VGF cards waiting for hours in the long line to get a negligible amount of rice. The benefit of their getting the food items at a cheap rate vanishes if the cost of waiting is calculated considering the minimum wage rate. Occasionally the alcohol users also wait politely in the long queue to be drunk and impolite.
Every one of us has the experience of waiting or finding others in the long queue. But we hardly find the queue of pen drives to receive the soft copies from the computer. The queue of this pen drives was identified in the MBA class of 'Fundamental of Management', conducted by professor M Muzahidul Islam who is currently the chairman of EMBA program, department of banking, faculty of business studies, University of Dhaka. The queue of the pen drives is arranged so that every pen drive user gets the course lecture in a well managed way.
