'Varsity student killed in road accident in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, June 2 (UNB): A student of Premier University was crushed under the wheels of a human hauler at Chandgaon in the city Monday.
Police said Muntasir Khan, a BBA 4th semester student of the 'varsity, died on the spot when the human hauler ran over him near old police station at about 7:30 am.
As the death news spread, 'varsity students put up barricade on the road near the spot and damaged a number of vehicles, disrupting traffic for an hour.
The situation became normal when city corporation authority ensured the students to construct a speed breaker on the road within 24 hours.
