Vastram offers its expertise to local RMG

Vastram Worldwide Private Limited, a renowned global supply chain company, Saturday said Bangladeshi garments industry can benefit from the global firm's versatile expertise and grow faster.
The India-based company can also take care of each segment of RMG and manage the entire chain of raw materials, machinery, processing, production, planning, product designing and quality control till the final delivery to the customers' safe hands, said Akash Siddiq, a top official of Vastram, while briefing a group of journalists in the city.
Vastram general managers P Bhattacharya and Kaisul Zeb Chowdhury and media officer Sinthia Alamgir were present during the meeting.
Vastram is one of the largest sourcing and supply chain organizations in Bangladesh for all types of yarns from India, Pakistan, Thailand, China and Indonesia.
Akash Siddiq said his company can provide the best yarn and cotton at competitive price in the fastest and economical sourcing method.
P Bhattacharya said Vastram is also specialised in Denim Yarn sourcing at very competitive prices and it has pre-shipment inspection facilities.
Vastram officials said the company also works as a buying office for global brands from the United Kingdom, Spain, Germany, Italy and some Latin American countries, which can help Bangladeshi manufacturers find top buyers.
As part of its efforts to make its presence felt in the local Bangladeshi market, the company is organising a four-day exhibition in the city which starts from Wednesday.
The '5th Dye+Chem Bangladesh 2010 International Expo and 4th Dhaka International Yarn & Fabric Show 2010' will be organised at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre which will be kept open to business and trade visitors from 10:30am to 7:30pm.
