England captain Michael Vaughan has been fined 40 per cent of his match fee for his team's slow over rate during the final Test against Sri Lanka, reports BBC.
The tourists held on for a draw in Galle, but lost the series 1-0.
England were four overs short of the bowling amount they should have delivered in the field.
Vaughan will incur the heaviest punishment but the rest of the team have been fined 20 per cent of their fees, 5 per cent for every over.
