Vegetable trader slaughtered in city

A vegetable trader was slaughtered by a gang of unidentified assailants at Gandaria in the capital Friday. The victim was identified as Sohel Sarkar (25), a vegetable trader of Shyam Bazar and resident of Purba Gandaria area. The police quoting the victim's family members said the gang called Sohel out of his house at about 11:00pm Thursday and abducted him. Local people found his slaughtered body at Gandaria Balurmath Friday morning and informed the local police. — UNB
