Vegetable vendor found dead in Manikganj

Police recovered the body of a vegetable vendor at Dakkhin Char Mokimpur village in Manikganj Sadar upazila on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Majnu Bepari, 45, son of late Bishu Bepari of the village. Family members of the deceased said he went out from his house for Peer Bari area on Monday night at around 9.00pm. On Tuesday morning, locals spotted Manju’s body near his residence and informed police. Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar upazila Hospital morgue for an autopsy. The family members claimed that Majnu might have been killed over his relationship with the wife of an expatriate. Aminur Rahman, officer-in charge of Sadar Police Station confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
