Venezuela, Iran sign cooperation accords

CARACAS, Sept 29 (XINHUA): Venezuela and Iran signed three cooperation accords on petrochemical, agricultural and automobile sectors, with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinajed on visit to the south American country, Venezuela's presidential office said Friday.
The three new accords were signed on late night Thursday after Ahmadinajed and his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez met in private, discussing further promoting friendly ties and more cooperation on energy and agriculture between the two nations.
