Verdict makes Mancha happy

Voicing satisfaction over the death sentence against Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Matiur Rahman Nizami, Ganajagaran Manch activists on Wednesday said it is the verdict of the nation. ‘People's expectation has been fulfilled with the verdict,’ Ganajagaran Manch spokesperson Imran H Sarkar told reporters in an instant reaction after the International Crimes Tribunal-1 pronounced the verdict sentencing Nizami to death for his war crimes. Manch activists also brought out a jubilant procession from Shahbagh around 12:30pm and marched towards Dhaka University’s TSC rejoicing the verdict, according to a news agency.
