Verdicts on S Siraj, family in three tax-doge cases today

The verdicts of three separate cases of tax evasion against former minister Shahjahan Siraj, wife Rabeya Haider and son Rajib Siraj would be pronounced today (Wednesday), reports bdnews24.com.
The verdicts in another four separate cases of tax dodge against Rajib Siraj, nicknamed Apu, have been set for September 5.
Judge Shamsunnahar Begum of the Special Judge's Court-4, sited at the Sangsad Bhaban, Tuesday fixed the date for the verdicts after presentation of arguments by the state side.
The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on July 16 filed 11 separate cases against Shahjahan Siraj, Rabeya Haider, popularly known as Rabeya Siraj, and their son accusing them of evading income tax.
All the accused in the cases are on the run.
