Vested quarter pushing country into uncertainty: Prof Azad Chy

Expressing grave concern over the current political situation, University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Prof AK Azad Chowdhury on Tuesday alleged that anarchists are pushing the country into uncertainty, reports UNB.
He made the remarks while addressing a discussion titled 'Birthday of Bangabandhu and Our Commitment' at the National Press Club in the city.
Bangabandhu Shikkha O Gobeshona Parishad organised the programme marking the 95th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Observing that people could have realised who are responsible for the ongoing bomb and arson attacks, AK Azad, also former vice-chancellor of Dhaka University, said this quarter is also responsible for the killing of former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria and Ahsan Ullah Master, MP.
He urged all to establish Bangladesh as Golden Bangla as dreamt by Bangabandhu by resisting all evil forces.
Bangabandhu Shikkha O Gobeshona Parishad president Dr Tofazzal Islam, Bangladesh Public Service Commission member Prof Dr M Abul Kashem Mozumder and Prof Sirajul Islam Alo also spoke at the programme.sss
