Vettori pretty happy winning both ODI, Test series

After winning both the BRAC Bank One Day International (ODI) and Test series overcoming the odds, New Zealand Captain Daniel Vettori seemed pretty happy with the outcome, reports UNB.
Vettori said a post match briefing Wednesday that winning the series is a wonderful feeling after facing a tough situation.
"Bangladesh really fought well. They gave us scare and always put us under sword. But we kept our cool and gradually improved in the series. I am pretty happy with the outcome," the 29-year old skipper said.
Vettori also was happy to see his top order batsmen in form after having a dismal start in the series.
He hailed Bangladesh as well saying the side is improving excellently. "As a team, they are improving much. There are a lot of good batsmen and bowlers and they did well in the series. Shakib was very good in the Test series. But, there is still a long way to go."
Vettori and his team now want to focus on their next assignment against Australia, which will be a tough one according to the Kiwi captain.
Though Australia is yet to make any impact against India that indicated their dominance over the World Cricket might come to an end, Vettori still believes Australia is a tough side.
"I can't believe playing against Australia will not be a tough one. They're always a tough side in cricket," he remarked during the post-match briefing.
Vettori said that the condition would be totally different when they will be playing against the Aussie. "There is a contrasting situation between the two teams. Australia is the number one side and Bangladesh is in the bottom. They tend to come back strongly."
The Tigers gave the visitors a scare throughout the series although they came here with an aim to whitewash the home side in both Test and ODI series. The scenario became tough for the Black Caps after tasting a humiliating seven-wicket defeat in the first ODI also at the SBNS.
There was a bright chance for the Tigers to clinch the ODI series by beating them in the consecutive second match, but instead they conceded a 75-run loss at the hands of the Kiwis.
Later, Daniel Vettori and his side showed some perfect batting in the third ODI to beat the hosts by 79 runs in Chittagong.
In the first Test, Shakib Al Hasan's record breaking bowling for Bangladesh in the first innings once again created a panic in the Kiwis tent.
Vettori single handedly resisted their defeat, but Bangladesh gained huge confidence as it was predicted Bangladesh are able to defeat them in the Test as well.
Persistent rain washed out the whole three days of the 2nd test and as it was assumed it turned out a tame draw.
