VGF wheat looted from 10 distressed women

PABNA, Feb 28 (UNB): Some 600 kgs of wheat of VGF programme were looted from 10 distressed women at Bagchipara crossing in Sadar Upazila Friday.
Police said Begum, Razia, Malina, Rabeya, Tara Khatun, Rupali, Rebeka, Khadeza, Taslima and Zulekha of Machhimpur village received 60 kgs of wheat each for the months of January and February under the VGF programme in the morning.
The local terrorists, numbering 10 to 12, waylaid them and took away the wheat when they were returning to the village by a van at about 11:00 am.
A case was filed.
