Vietnam keen to boost trade ties with Bangladesh

Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Nguyen Sinh Hung expressed his interest to promote trade relations with Bangladesh, reports UNB.
He showed the interest when Foreign Minister Dr Dipu Moni paid a courtesy call on the Vietnamese DPM at his official residence Saturday.
They exchanged their pleasantries and discussed the common bilateral issues in a very friendly and candid manner. He expressed his interest to have a trade agreement between Bangladesh and Vietnam.
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni said Vietnam has achieved tremendous development in many sectors, especially in agriculture and Bangladesh has many things to learn from Vietnam.
She emphasised on enhancement of trade and investment between the two courtiers.
The Vietnamese DPM said that ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) is an effort to ensure peace, security and friendship in this region. He expressed the hope that in future ARF could be more cooperative on climate change and natural disaster. Dipu Moni said that Bangladesh is also very much concerned about climate change.
The Foreign Minister said that both chambers of commerce could work together to promote bilateral trade relations. She also emphasised on agricultural cooperation agreement and student exchange.
