Vietnam president for boosting trade with BD

Vietnam President Truong Tan Sang has expressed the hope that the friendly relationship between Bangladesh and Vietnam would be strengthened further with increased trade volume between the two countries in the days to come.
The Vietnam president said this while Bangladesh Ambassador to Vietnam M Shahab Ullah presented his credentials to him, according to a message received in Dhaka on Monday, reports UNB.
The Bangladesh envoy expressed his profound regard to Ho Chi Minh, the greatest leader of all time, and said he brought the message of good will and friendship of the President and the Prime Minister of Bangladesh for continued growth and welfare of Vietnamese people.
The envoy acknowledged with gratitude the continuous support of Vietnam for the cause of Bangladesh in all international forums.
The ambassador further said Bangladesh is eager to share with Vietnam the spectacular achievements in the area of poverty reduction, disaster management, microcredit financing and achieving the millennium development goals (MDGs).
The Bangladesh envoy also recalled Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Vietnam visit in November, 2012 and said she is expecting the return visit of her counterpart in near future.
The Vietnam president also emphasised high level visit of two countries so that the bilateral relationship between the two friendly countries could be strengthen further in the days to come.
