Vietnam releases new petroleum tariff regime

HANOI, June 5 (Xinhua): Vietnam has issued an adjusted import tax regime on petroleum products, which will take effect some time this month, local newspaper Vietnam News reported yesterday.
Under the regime issued by the Vietnamese Finance Ministry last Thursday, if global oil prices exceed 89 U.S. dollars per barrel, no tariff will be applied.
